Play Battlefield 3 This Bank Holiday Weekend in the UK

This weekend UK gamers can play the hotly-anticipated Battlefield 3 at insomnia43, the UK's biggest gaming festival. The event has already been confirmed as the biggest ever UK LAN party. But it isn't all purely for fun, with over £50,000 to be won by those entering the tournament. Other games featured in the competition include FIFA 11, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Counter-Strike: Source. "This is a real coup for insomnia43," says Craig Fletcher, Managing Director of Multiplay UK, who organise the event. "It will be the first time gamers will be able to see for themselves why Battlefield 3 has been garnering so much praise. It's a stunning game, and one which is sure to draw a crowd." Competitor places have nearly sold out, but day passes for spectators are still available, priced at £5.
